Arboras ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Arboras mobile application and the website https://www.arboras.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.
Arboras is a business-to-business (B2B) platform designed exclusively for licensed landscaping professionals and registered companies. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account credentials: Email address and password used to sign in.
- Personal Information: First and last name, physical address and billing address.
- Business registration information: During the registration/access request process, we collect company details including company name, company email address and phone number, services offered, annual revenue range and number of employees.
- AI Assistant conversations: When you use the Arboras Assistant, we collect and store the content of your chat messages and the responses generated.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Firebase Analytics data: We use Google Firebase Analytics, which automatically collects device type, operating system, app version, session duration, screen views, and general interaction events. Firebase may also collect a unique app-instance identifier and advertising identifiers depending on your device settings.
- Log and infrastructure data: Our application infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS services, including Amazon CloudFront (our content delivery network), may automatically log technical request data such as IP addresses, request timestamps, and resource URLs as part of standard service operation. We do not actively collect or analyze these logs for user-level tracking purposes.
1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
- Payment or financial information (credit cards, bank accounts)
- Precise geolocation data
- Contacts, photos, or other on-device data
- Data from users under the age of 18 (see Section 7)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Account management: To create, authenticate, and maintain your Arboras account and verify your business eligibility.
- AI Assistant functionality: To process your queries, generate plant recommendations, and store conversation history so you can reference past interactions.
- App improvement: To understand how users interact with the app, identify bugs or performance issues, and improve the overall experience through aggregated Firebase Analytics data.
- Communication: To respond to support inquiries or send service-related notices (e.g., account approval, terms updates). We do not send marketing emails or push notifications.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We share data with the following third-party services, strictly to operate the app:

Beside the above, we do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or any unrelated third parties.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Your data is stored on servers located in the United States, hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
- All data in transit is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS.
- Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.
While we implement commercially reasonable security measures, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
5. Data Retention
- Account and business data is retained for as long as your account is active and for 12 months after account deletion or deactivation, after which it is permanently deleted.
- AI Assistant conversation history is retained for as long as your account is active and for 12 months after account deletion or deactivation, after which it is permanently deleted.
- Firebase Analytics data is retained according to Google's default retention settings (currently 14 months for user-level data, unless configured otherwise).
- AWS infrastructure logs are retained according to AWS default service configurations and are not used for user-level analysis.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Even though Arboras serves business users, we respect your ability to control your data:
- Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about your account.
- Correction: You may request correction of inaccurate information.
- Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.

We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy
Arboras is a B2B application intended solely for use by licensed landscaping businesses and their authorized representatives. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please contact us at info@arboras.com.
8. California Residents — CCPA/CPRA Notice
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
- Right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used (see Sections 1 and 2).
- Right to delete your personal information (see Section 6).
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing: We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
- Right to non-discrimination: We will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email.
Your continued use of Arboras after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
